Cremation in North America has been on the rise over the past couple of decades, and the numbers continue to grow across the country to match or exceed the number of burials. In fact, cremation is expected to overtake traditional burial in a number of states over the next few years. What accounts for this seemingly sudden revival of an ancient practice?
